Yeah the yards here don't have the best selection. Most likely will have to make a drive for whatever I decide on

My friend did a full JK seat swap including the rear bench. Just had to make adapter plates to bolt to the XJ front seat brackets. Rear was a lot more work. Fits nicely though and gives a nicer ride. His build on here is Adventure Wagon and username is Oldblue#2 if you want to see his write up on it.

As cleenrob stated, I did the Tiburon seats...and I love them. Old seats I was uncomfortable after an hour or so, Tibby seats I can go sunup to sundown, no problem. Better geometry and better support. I would say as long as the seats you want to try are close in overall dimensions, you can make just about any seat work with a little fab work.

Been following this build, it's incredible! Hope mine turns out even half as good as yours.
First thing I did was look for better seats and got lucky one day at the Junkyard. Found a pair of Dodge Stealth seats in a color that matches near perfect. They were a pain to mount properly and I still want to remount the drivers seat so it will slide back further. The biggest problem I had is that I wanted them as low as possible, had to clearance the trans tunnel a little to allow the seats to slide. They don't compare to stock, these are really comfortable and they have great side bolstering.

As do I, but no way I will ever recommend them. I've never been one to bash, but they were impossible to get a hold of for status updates while I waited months for my backorder. They said they were working on a new mold so I was also hopeful that these were going to fit better compared to what I've heard in the past from people. Wrong. Fitment is terrible. The bolts are epoxied to the inside of the flare and aren't fiber glassed into it either. Just expected much better quality considering the premium you have to pay for these things. They do look great though! lol

I actually REALLY like those stealth seats. Maybe I can find them in tan.

Monstaliner! ****s awesome! UV resistant and super strong. I believe it can be rolled or sprayed, but I personally like the rolled look. I have a batch that's going on my rockers and lower doors when spring rolls around.
