Finally got a chance to do a little more work on it this summer. She was interning at GE in Eire PA for the summer so I didn't get my paws on it untill this weekend.
Got a new exhaust from the manifold back including a brand new cat under warranty by a dealer in Melbourne Fl this spring.
We just finished installing a Zone 2in aal out back with their black shocks along with new shocks and sway bar bushings up front. it sits a little nose down right now but when she loads it full of college/apt stuff to go back to school its no longer riding on the bump stops. I'll put the front spacers in at some point to level it out. We also picked up a rack from a fellow jeep club member who no longer wanted it.
Taken on our way from Florida to NY this spring
At home in my drive way with the YJ buggy, my sisters WK1 and GFs XJ
now with the rear lift and rack

well it looked like the end was near for project low on green. rusted floors, broken upper rear shock bolt and a nice list of small things and we debated trading it in on a new impreza 5 door. Well we got the Subaru but kept the XJ. Seems like this XJ has 9 lives she'll once again go into the shop for a better mid life overhall/rebuild. once finished She'll turn into my daily commuter/around town rig to keep miles off the hemi. As the XJ has been getting 14-16city and the dodge is only getting 12-13.

I started laying out all the parts that will be going into the rig. Have a set of tow hook brackets with some old Hi Country D-ring mounts I had on my old XJ and set of sway bar disconnects. the front spacers are still in NY but I'll be getting the YJ and the rest of the parts this coming weekend.

I got the front d-ring mounts and tow hook brackets installed today and test fit one of my 33s.
Seats
all finished up and out of the shop
the 33x13.5 pitbull it fit but could never drive with the fenders stock. either needs some good cutting or flat flairs if I ever decided to run 33s on 2 inches of lift height.
