It's in June, so if I can lift my Jeep a bit more and sort out my bumpstops by then... I will most likely be there.
Okay.. I've been trying to think of a way to put a winch on the front of my XJ for a loooonnnnngggg time...
Here's what I came up with at 3am when I was having trouble falling asleep.. Kinda hit me like a lead brick.
(please ignore my horrible drawing skills..)
Now that I look at it, my design would have to be changed slightly because of the LED bar.. Basically putting the winch like an inch (or maybe closer) in front of the LED bar (sticking slightly past the end of the bullbar) and mounting slightly differently to how I drew it and make it sit as low to the top of the 2" receiver as possible... I'm probably going to try and play around with my winch this weekend and see how I can set it in there (to see how it looks).
And I was looking at some old pics.. My springs have definitely sagged.....
summertime lift height...
Lift height as of a few weeks ago... Looks about an inch, or so, lower to me..

That's mah plan.
I usually stick to the greens and blues. I don't quite have enough bumpstop to keep the tires out of the flares yet so I've been taking it easy.. Gunna do hockey pucks in the front and a bump pad on top of the leafs for the rear. I've been taking it easy the few times I've been to Rausch also because I was building the Jeep at the time and didn't want to break anything and I also had open diffs every time I went wheeling. But I have some axle goodies to install come summertime.
I have, on occasion, been known to mash the gas while wheeling though... And now that I have a way to shift the AW4 manually, it's gunna be FUN cause now I can bounce off the rev limiter!!
You should've seen when I was coming out of Crawl Daddy after I took this video (unfortunately i didn't record it). It was pedal-to-the-metal the entire way up.
(crawl daddy is a red trail btw...)

Bleh. It's a lifted brick with big tires (and a supercharger in my case)... Mileage is gunna suck no matter what. Lol.
Looks like I might be getting an unpainted and uninstalled Orvis spoiler for my XJ... I've only been looking for one for how long?!? Lmao.
Here's what the spoiler looks like mounted. It also has an LED 3rd brake light which makes me happy.
Not sure if I want to paint it red or satin black... Kinda leaning towards satin black.
