Thanks man! Hopefully it will be done before my father's birthday on the 4th of July. Need to get a brake line, and my father broke the brake cable tit( the tit where the upper springs hook on to) so need to get something done to that, once that's done I'm all set to take it for a test drive and then hopefully to the registry

Big update: found out that Junior had a valve cover gasket leak. took off the cover, cleaned it and reinstalled it.
Took a picture halfway through, so happy I got the cover back together
Then before that all I picked up a section of copper line and I made the line up, never have done it before but my dad said I actually did really good!
Hoping to put it in place tomorrow after my classes. Two big things done!

I found a guy on eBay that is selling the outer rockers for both drivers side and passenger side so hopefully that will be getting ordered today, realized that the compression fittings I got from AutoZone are damaged from being used so that is going back. Also going to be testing my cleaning stuff on my truck to make sure that it's all still good.
I am especially focusing on the damaged section as Junior has quite a few scrapes and scratches and dents.
You wouldn't know it but the hood is scratched up a good bit, I know it's not a Jeep but it is a good way to gauge what should be really effective on Junior.
And obviously junior won't be a show Jeep or a mall crawler but I will definitely keep it clean for the most part. Forgot to mention that I also rerouted the radiator overflow hose as it was just laying on top of the power steering pump pulley.

After cleaning up the truck I came to the conclusion that I will definitely not be using tire shine on Junior cause I don't need the wheels slippery on a rock ledge but I'm all set for the big day

Ok so I just was going through my stuff and realized I had forgotten to mention that Junior was involved in an accident a while back, kid who owned it before my old man was dicking around in the jeep and hit a pole on the passenger door. We pulled it out a year ago using a comealong and my dad's 98 ram 1500 but now I'm thinking about spraying primer over the rusted spots and maybe clear coating it idk yet though

Todays plan is to get the brake line in the junction box, get the new wheel cylinder in place and hook them up, then maybe my father can weld on the spring tit and then we just reassemble the brakes and bleed the system. Then finally it's down to the rocker and tail pipe

Okay so wheel cylinder is installed brake line is put in brake fluid has been added the brake line has been bled via gravity bleeding of course, my father is on the way down and hopefully it will be completely bled and ready to go
Wheel cylinder install was extremely easy no surprises there!
The line was a little bit off but I bent it to go straight in so that is good!
Put in the tie down to replace the old one that was there, and put on the bracket for the brake line to secure it to the axle!
And finally put in the line into the junction box and had to bend the line a bit to get it dead straight on but its in there!
So got that all done my father is ordering the drivers rocker and possibly the passenger side rocker (both outers) and then he will be hopefully drilling out and tapping the new tit into the backing plate! Then it's just tailpipe and bolt up the rockers!

Quick little update my father came down right before I left we got done bleeding the brakes as much as we could found out I am not to put the tailpipe on until the Jeep is completely done except for that aspect also finally convinced him to not have me rip apart the passenger side interior because there's no point taking out that dent if anything it's actually a little bit of a battle scar. Did some measurements and trial placement of some extra oh s**t handles cause only the passenger gets one so I'm putting in one on the a pillar from a CAT forklift, assuming it will fit.

Good news! Got the backing plate ready to be drilled and tapped. Ordered the rocker panel and that will be in for the 3rd. Also found out that the wiring issue with the fog lights is with the wire going out to the lights so that's good!

So taking apart the passenger door panel so we can pull the dent out some more apparently. However we will be doing the backing plate repair too as well! And the rocker is ordered and hopefully enroute

My old man the talented MacGyver he is did this lol
I'm really impressed but then again it's my dad lol
Also tomorrow I'll be picking up some oil and an oil filter cause the jeep hasn't had an oil change in 10,000 miles hopefully it goes well!

So Junior had a Frozen oil drain nut got it unFrozen found my Mopar oil filter picked up my 20w-50 oil and put it in (because personal bias) cleaned the air filter in it reinstall the air filter housing box got it all back together got the Sawzall out going to make some cuts on the new brake tit and hopefully by 4 o'clock all the tires will be on it and the brakes will be all set to go!
Bought this filter back in 2015 for my magnum 3.9L but never got to install it, good thing too!
Can't even tell that the door panel was all messed up before! And that's the handle for the drivers pillar on the floor.
