dunno. I wouldn't be too concerned with it though. If it were running lean you'd have a CEL saying so

I just bought a thermal infrared gun and my catalytic converter appears to be doing its job. It's running at around 350 at the front and 440 at the rear, and I've learned a higher temperature reading at the rear is a good thing. So it would appear I'm not having exhaust problems.

I also pointed it at the thermometer housing. While the gauge said it was at 210, the thermometer said it was anywhere between 207-225.

I replaced the thermostat housing temperature sensor and so far, the temperature gauge seems to be keeping below 210 while running. I haven't driven too far yet, but fingers are crossed. Maybe the sensor was just bad and giving the computer bad data.

I took it for a drive and met up with my girlfriend. Here's my Jeep next to hers:

Oh haha, right I forgot you lived that far south.

That idea of putting jeep hubcaps on the aftermarket rims is good, I think I would do that on my jeep also. Kudos

I'm in the process of converting all of my lights to LED. Did you have any issues with hyper-flash or turn signal issues? Did you replace your factory flasher with an aftermarket one like the EP27 model?

Do you still have the Tom Woods NP242 SYE? Any chance you could measure the distance from the rear of the main housing to the center of the u-joint on the yoke? I am trying to do some planning.

I simply replaced the flasher with the Novita-brand LED flasher that Advance Auto Parts sells. It's solid state. Everything is working good except that the radio display flashes when the brake lights are pressed and the turn signal is on and that the two green turn signal indicators on the dash are always on.

Yes, and sure I can do that for you tomorrow.

I don't have that rear housing so I need to know from the rear of the main case.
