They're kind of fragile around the ring that's adhered to the tweeter.

Proper packaging should keep that from separating.

When I got my original ones from the junk yard, the moron that marked them with the marker dropped the tweeters and broke both of them, so they were only put in my Jeep for looks because I know the covers are worth more than the $6 I paid for them lol.

So today I got that other set of tweeters, and just like the first... only one of them worked lol.

So now I have 2 working factory tweeters. I need to add a pair of aftermarkets to the new casings now and I'll be good to go to sell a pair.

Picked up the roof rack for a good price, but looks like I found out why.. there's a problem with the mounting bracket not tightening all the way in the front, so I'll have to go to home depot and find a new d-bolt type of thing.

So I fixed up the roof rack as I intended to.

Today I went to the junk yard because my passenger front window regulator died. The new one works and now I have a working power window again. Here was the culprit:

I also scored yet another pair of WORKING tweeters:

Thanks man. I'm using Tom Wood's SYE kit. It's holding up very good for everything. Would recommend it over the hack n tap.

Is anyone familiar with this motor noise and a fix? Mine is starting to do this exact same thing.
