Lebaron Hood Vents Afterthoughts......

Was hopping to drop the temp by a couple of degree but apparently not .
All those work for nothing....still sitting around 213* at stop.

Running on 195* t-stat (replaced 6 mo back) and stock fan.
Is around 105* here in Las Vegas, and i'm running at about 210* on freeway and 213* at stop.
Not overheating if you ask me but was hopping the vents will lower the temp at stop but they didn't....kind of disappointing

Cool build. I really like the WheelSkin and I may end up doing that to mine. For now I've got a cheapo wheel cover.

You may want to reconsider the zj's clutch....based on what i read, they are really loud and you lose about 1-2mpg.
Appreciate the suggestion tho .

Yeah, that would be nice.
I know you are thinking of getting one .

No overheating issue for me, therefore $$$ saved .

I use 1/2 x 3/4 angled aluminium together with some stainless bolts and nuts.
There is a pic of the underside a few thread up.

Note: Not sure is i'm doing right but i apply grease to any rubber contacts and antiseize to metal contacts

12)Install UCA (hand tighten for now)
It went smoothly since i have my CAD bracket loosely fastened, just need to support the axle with a jack, and i was able to move the axle and align the UCA bolts.

13)Install LCA (hand tighten for now)
a)Install factory alignment shoe (i can't figure out why i need those since i have adj CA but i did it anyway....as per RC instruction)
I push the shoe all the way back to the bracket, no shims required with the adj arm.

b)Install LCA to bracket making sure the grease zerk is facing up

c)Install LCA to axle

14)Torque all bolts to spec (UCA, LCA and CAD bracket)

14)Repeat passenger's side CA installation.

Done!
I have the rough country control adjustable arms and i have my lowers installed the opposite way. Am i wrong? I'm nt positive about what the directions said but i'm pretty sure i followed them.

I can't be 100% positive but calling RC would be the best bet.
