thanks man shes come a long way!
^ Hes got it, there is a sensor on top of the pumpkin I am going to put a block off plate on eventually too. For now the wires to the sensor are just cut and I left the sensor in.
Haha right on right on, I will text you, theres a possibility.
For the white jeep, last weekend was the crawl 4 the cure and first time I have ever had the thing up to temp haha. It got a little hot but my dad had the idea to disconnect the a/c so I just left the defrost on and turned it to low so the e-fan ran constantly. Stayed right at 210 for the rest of the day.
Anyways, parents came up, there first time at gilbert, they brought their camper so we didnt have to tent! They just wrapped everything inside because they saw the red mud we would bring back and didnt want it in the camper anywhere

morning line up

high voltage

durango bent his tierod

hit the RTI while waiting for our group to finish lunch

My only real "break". Our 2am idea for the track bar mount since I stretched the front was to weld it in. I forgot to plate the unibody first. I was on a trail called money talks which is a switch back trail, coming up to a drop on the right and you have to turn left up a climb which has some sharp turns. Not even 5 minutes before, a guy sheared the TRE off his track bar, coming to the turn, I lost left steering and noticed my drivers tire sticking a good foor out of the body. I ran 2 beads on the lower part of the track bar mount..the unibody cracked infront of the TB mount and the lower sheet metal had peeled back. Not a huge deal to fix but it bent the TB bracket is what happened. The trail guid ran and got some chain and ratchet straps from another guy and we whipped up this to get me back

I still didnt feel totally safe seeing as it was a huge drop on either side so he pulled me all the way back with his JK which had a 6.1 hemi and pick up box conversion.
we got back to the site and with the 10k lbs straps and a 12lbs sledge we got the bracket back in place and put bolts in and then went and found some guys with a welder and we burned it all in, made a brace out of some angle iron and welded the crack back together.

the next day

first body damage happened on a trail called 1%. Tires were wet and the jeep slid into a rock. whoops

I was messing around and slid off a rock and landed hard on the rear driveshaft here:

which caused a retaining clip to pop out of my flange adapter. I was getting wicked vibes over 5mph and I thought the DS was bent. Got it back to camp and found this

popped a clip out of my spare DS, pounded the u-joint back in with a socket and popped the clip in and good to go.
back at the campground

raffle tj many companys donated parts to and river wranglers built. Some guy in eveleth won it

thank god I left my stock tank skid on haha

mom wanted some group pictures so we went out sunday and took some

I convinced mom and dad to try driving. Made for some funny video.

All loaded up and ready for home

Just got back on the computer finally, figured I would share from the last couple of events seeing as the jeep will be going under the knife soon
first things first, i used cheap ball joints the first time around. I figured I went all out on everything ill get mid-grade ball joints..the cap blew up on the upper..so I replaced those. Friend was gonna come in and weld..he didnt show so I sent him this pic on his jeep haha

heres why we never get stuff done

doorless

Traded the black jeep for a mazda protege 5 speed for a daily driver

went to dresser in the fall for the last trail run. wheeled with my buddy and his yj and another guy with a zj. i broke the rear flange adapter after I nail a rock on it

Got stuck there had to get pulled back

heres where i broke

swamped

put it in storage and it snowed, got the truck stuck trying to get it out, we finally got it out with a bobcat

truck is squatting so bad cause theres an engine in the bed and on the trailer with a tranny. bead leak, fixed my flat with soap and water.
