Do work son. We want video of this thing blasting through snow drifts!!!
Lol we'd have to have snow for that!! We have like an 1" if that haha... If anything it'll be blasting through mud haha. knew right away the slave was fine when it still had the tabs that keep it compressed til the pressure in the slave pops em loose. Took a lil trimming of the o ring since they didn't have a specific slave one, but it sealed right up!

So took her for the first test run!! Definitely needs some front end work and a lil work in the rear end, but it ran and drove up and around the block lol.

What's going in

How the day ended

Photo courtesy of the woman on our test drive lol

So the day ended with swapping in the axle I've been working on for a bit. didnt bother aligning the axle that was in it on account it's coming out anyway, so started on the front swap. Found a leak in the oil pan that needs to be addressed, thankfully it just looks like it's the pan gasket and not as severe as before. So weird being behind the wheel of it again!!

Slowly getting the new axle set. Should be getting the rear end this weekend, then it's new fluids in the diffs and another test drive to make sure the front end is set correctly

Front axle is in. Needa grab the right socket to pull some things off the old axle to swap over to get the wheels back on it, then it's just dialing in the alignment and getting the drag link bolted in

New axle all bolted in and another test run down. Leaks oil from a different spot in the pan now, but it rides 100x better than on stock steering. Just needs stabilizers to help keep the steering from wandering

Steering is a lot more melo even on the stock setup. Might be because I haven't driven it in awhile. Wonders a tad tho from the ruts so I figured it'd be worth throwing one in

Went for another run around town tonight, stabilizer helped a ton with the road vibrations causing the jeep to jump around the road. Suspension is still really stiff, so every last ice build up on the road is felt. But that being said its getting much more road worthy. Just need swap the rear ends and fix the slight oil leak and it'll be good for a bit further of a trip

You and me both.. It needs a matching rear end before I'll take it out, especially with nothing but ran the last couple days lol. 4wd would be nice

Haven't really done too much, ordered a track bar relocation bracket to center my axle since the rubicon express track bar was purchased before I went up to 7.5" of lift. Also picking up the hub assembly for the other side, since the passenger side one that was on there has a bad bearing and 2 bent studs. If all goes well with weather and coordinating, should be grabbing the rear axle Saturday.

So on today's test run, I found I need a new tps and fuel pump. Cruising in 3rd get the Rpms would go from 2500 to what it idles at and then hop back up, wouldn't die though. Research and some tests lead me to tps. Picking up a new one tonight when I get off and go grab my hub assembly. And as for the fuel pump, long start times after it running and then turning off and starting it again lead to a few possible things, like injectors and what I already knew was on its way out the fuel pump. If I prime the pump 2-3 times and then start it, it'll crank right up. So that's where we are currently at lol

Not at all lol. I knew what I was getting into when I bought it for $500 tho lol. Hardly ever maintained, had a quart of oil in the pan, and almost the whole interior was torn apart. But it's slowly getting there. Swapped out the tps and its doing a lot better, the fuel pump is still affecting it a lil tho
