Thanks guys for all the comments. Just to clarify, the halo sticks way (3 inches) past the windshield so when I am done fabbing the side supports and the center support we will be able to replace the windshield when it breaks without cutting tubing. Same reason I did the bumper supports like I did. I have to get the bezel off to replace headlights and blinker light. This is going to be my DD for a while so I need lights and not smashed windshields. As for the bumper I'm not sure how you would get it much closer to the body with a winch on it. Plus I gained a lot of approach angle when I did the lift and 35s. Side supports and triangulating the interior cage today wish me luck.

She is starting to come together. We got the front and back supports on and the interior pieces cut notched and painted. We are hoping Friday will be a productive day and we can have the cage 90%. Gotta put the air compressor and air tank back in so she will be locked again. doin a motor mount tomorrow and t-stat if I have time. Puttin the skid plates back on and hopefully take her out for a real shakedown run on Saturday!! Man I am dying to get on the trail again, it's been too long.

Hey man, Great build, I have to ask how much weight do you think you have added and are you still running the D30 up front, I have been uming and rrring about 33''s or the 36'' TSL SX that I have, and I have to say the 35s don't look out of place on this truck. You may have helped me decide. cheers Mate
