Ok... This 95 Grand Cherokee was given to me because it had "transmission problems" aka the tranny is toast... Anyway the quick rundown is...

Stock:
95 ZJ Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition
5.2 Magnum V8
A518 Torqueflite Trans.
NP249 t-case (Quadra-Trac)
D30 front 3.88s
D44a rear 3.88s

Lift Plans:
7" Iron Rock Offroad premium long arm kit
35" tsl boggers on 15x10 black steelies w/ 4" bs
Custom (homemade) rock sliders, front and rear bumpers w/ spare tire swing mount
Built NP231d t-case w/ 4.0:1 and Tera 2-lo kit

Other:
Custom (homemade) roofrack w/ lights
On board air
Fix A/C
Tint rear windows (maybe)

I know there's more but I cant think of anything off the top of my head. This should be a fun build but I am new to ZJs so I expect to hit a few road blocks, but thats nothin new lol. Don't really kow what else to say other than just wait and see haha... BTW this might be a slow build due to current "life" situations but I guarantee this will not die!!!

Also, I failed to take pics before i tore into the thing.
But hey, we all know what a sock ZJ looks like anyway lol

Here we go...

I decide to throw the 32/11.50s on one side to see just how much i would need to lift it to squeeze them in there for now...

Looks like its only going to take 2" and removal of the front bumper to get by for now...

The only body damage on the Jeep... I might not even worry about fixin it.

Got the t-case out. About four more bolts till the trans is out. Just ran out of time. It should be out by the end of the week though. Depending on work.

Quick update: Finally had some time friday to finish pullin the trans. Spent the whole day at junkyards lookin for a "new" one... No such luck. After some time spent thinking and talking to some guys I know, I've decided to rebuild my trans. So I may need some help on that guys. lol I'm confident i can pull it off though. Also had some time to change spark plugs and wires on fri. and had to put a new oil drain plug in because some one put the wrong one in.. luckily the threads in the pan weren't damaged at all. Dont have time to post pics tonight but I will tomorrow or the next day for sure. Two jobs, school, and a brand new baby girl keep me pretty busy

I'm a daddy!!!
