Project: Green Box
My family has owned this 1995 cherokee (and refered to it as the green box) since it was brand new and now that I have taken it over it is time for it to start its second life! Its at about 198,000 and runs strong. Somehow I havent been able to find a before picture but I'm sure one will turn up being as we've had the thing for 15 years. First thing on the docket was to paint it. It had really bad oxidation and looked more white than green...Keeping with the geen box name I painted it a mossy green instead of the original emerald green

I was getting to that and ran out of time to post. Got a Rusty's 3" coil front and add a leaf rear.
Not too much trouble getting it in. One of the bolts on the rear shock in the wheel well broke off and had to drill it out and rethread it. Also swaybar links broke...Gave me an excuse to order disconnects!

Ordered tires and wheels today. Crager steel wheels 15x8 and dunlop mud rover 31x10.50 tires. Order the wheels from Jegs for really cheap and free shipping!! Just hope they get here soon. Tires I ordered from sams club also pretty good price.
Can't wait to see it with the new goodies on it.
On another note...should I get new control arms? Someone told me its a good idea if I want proper alignment.

Got my tires and rims on today! Looks great. I took it to a local shop to get an alignment and they insisted it needs a drop pitman arm. I was under the impression that with the 3" it would be ok without. Should I just take it someplace else or spend the money for the new Pitman? I'll be posting up some pics tomorrow!

Here it is with the new tires and wheels. I also put on a steering stabalizer. It looks like one wheel in the front sticks out farther than the other...may need to get an adjustable trac-bar.
