What??? A mall crawler? I'm 30 and married dude... don't need to be picking up high school girls with my Jeep. That's what my supercharged Mercedes-Benz was for or my 30 ft Sea Ray boat....

yeah I'm definitely going to fab one up here shortly. I am using the steel that I have not to reinforce the front bumper. If you read through this thread you'll see the shotty job that the guy who made the bumper did. I'm going to redo that completely first then get to the gas skid.

I bought an XJ because my wife packs the whole house when we go camping or wheeling. I can't afford to lose the cargo space.

I finally got a chance to flex the XJ. We dialed in the pinion angle last night at Brad's shop and got it all done.
When I rolled into the shop I had 8.5 degrees of positive caster!!! My pinion angle sucked. We dialed it in at 3 degrees of positive caster and the pinion is almost perfectly level with the driveshaft, even through the cycling of the suspension at full flex!! Woo hoo. This turned out better than expected. My original estimates with an angle finder read 6 degrees when we were putting this together. I'm glad I was off by 2 degrees because that made all the difference in the world!
This here, Boys and Girls... is what 3 feet of flex looks like!!!

And at full compression on the drivers side... the coil spring doesn't even touch the trac bar bracket. I think someone mentioned that it might be an issue... but we're in the clear!!!
