got the old leaf spring mounts and shock mounts cut off
and started mocking up the brackets and steering.

7/8x 3/4 heims for the center link.

Few random questions... How do you cut the DOM to get a straight cut? And are you just mocking up the bolt like that or are you mounting it like that, if so, why?

It's just mocked up like that so it will stay straight when I start having to roll it under the Jeep to set up all the other mounts.
And what do you mean about the bolt?

A table saw works well, but I normally wrap painters tape around the tube to get a straight line and use a band saw to cut it.

And what do you mean about the bolt?
I meant like bolt head on top, or bolt head on bottom with nut then nylock nut on top. So basically, like pictured or flipped?

I will be putting the bolt from the bottom up when it's finished, just for a little more clearance and to protect the threads

Ah ok, sweet! Are you going to run high misalignment spacers on the drag link? What's the best way to measure the heim width so you know how to set the tabs on the tie rod?

It's best to have the heims and spacers setup in the bracket first before welding to the tie rod.
