Think I'm going to pass on building it. My only carrier option besides the factory locker( which I don't have) is a 35 spline ARB, and that plus the 35 spline shafts will run me over 2k. Then I would still need to retube it and brace it. Buy new link and coil mounts, Along with buying factory brakes, unit bearings, and knuckles.
Seems like alot of time and money for a 44 with unit bearings.

So looks like the build will be moving fast now.
Picked up a bronco d44. Has the ssbc brake kit , moog ball joints, and warn hubs.
ordered all my parts for my 3 link and steering. And I'm ordering a set of chromolys with 760joints for the 44, along with some 410 gears for it

Man that's awesome. I wish I could find a sweet deal like that. I did find a CJ D30 with open knuckles and locking hubs, but I don't have any way to cut the leaf perches off and weld coil perches and control arm brackets to it.
