I have everything off, and the.only thing I have left to do today is work on the.bolts. I gotta run up to the store to get the torx sockets for.the three top bolts. I'm hoping to get it done before I leave for work today

Well I have good news and I have bad news.. Good news is I didn't have to work today and I ended up getting the jeep trailered up to my girlfriends house. Her dad has a big shop with a car lift. So we put it up on there and got 8/10 bolts out, broke the 9th one loose (the external torx that holds the breather tube of the transmission) and then the 10th bolt is the other external torx on the drivers side of the bell housing. (the black bolt head a little up and to the right of the two clean bolt holes in the picture). that 10th one is the bolt I stripped today before I got up here :/ we have been using 12 point sockets all day though, and I just found out from odgreen that its an external torx. So tomorrow mornin I'll be borrowing a friends external torx socket set who lives by me (gresham) and driving back up to my girlfriends house (Vancouver/battle ground). just to get that one stupid bolt broke loose hopefully!!!
If I do get that broke loose then I'll have to wait til Saturday mornin when her dad is here to help me get it secured on the transmission jack and lowered down.

Well shucks.. I used the external torx socket on the one bolt that I stripped, and I ended up stripping it more. Basically its just a round head now.
So some options I'm considering are:
-cut the bolt head, drop the trans, and then get the rest out some how.
-try to weld somethin to the bolt head.
-take out the entire engine.
Does anybody know of any special tools that are made for this type of job?? any help would be greatly appreciated!!

They come in different sizes and i'm sure tacoma screw or harbor freight has them. I've had pretty good luck with these types though
