He does.
I don't get why you have so many problems with you head gasket (mine seeps oil, but very little... doesn't even drop oil pressure it's so little). I've never had a problem with mine on mine, even on the hottest days here in Memphis, and I don't think there is that much of a difference between the 00 and 01.
One of the things that I think could be is because you have the California emissions with the 2 header cats. I know that makes them run a lot hotter, I'm glad I have the Federal emissions without the cats.

there is many factors. mine is black, 2 pre cats right below the intake, i drive long periods at a time. maybe its time to just part it out

First I'd get rid of the pre cats then if you don't already get a 3 core radiator (forget if you have one, I do and mine stays just above 210 (even without a fan shroud and no switch on my eFan), though I can't recall what it was before since I wasn't driving when we put the 3 core in it.)
Then I'd try to get some hood vents or make a cowl hood like I am, already have the hood and metal, going to try and start today or tomorrow.
What gaskets do you use when you replace one? Might just be the gasket.

Nah, I wouldn't part it out.

just turning 17, dont have the money to keep throwing at it. its got a lot of electrical problems and some stuff that can not be fixed. just time to part it out and move on. need something more reliable. I havent really decided what i want yet. might find a comanche and swap the front clip, interior, and lift. might get an older body style. just depends.

If you do end up getting something else though, I'd try to stay with the MJ/XJ platform just so you can swap everything over since all all aftermarket stuff adds up. Plus idk about you, but I couldn't part with my XJ, it's just so well rounded on the street and done very well offroad. You couldn't get anything else like them (besides some other type of Jeep)
One question though, has all the gaskets been on this same engine (when you replaced the engine what year did you go with)? Or did you have some go bad on your first engine besides when you first got it. Cause I'm just trying to think if it's just the 01 engine as a whole, if you replaced your stock one with another 01 or another year.

Also I didn't think about it, when (if) you replace the headgasket. Don't get the felpro get either a Mopar or Mopar performance head gasket. It might be more, but it might also last a lot longer. You could go to the stealership and get the OE part number from them then order one online cheaper. I know I've been looking since mine has been seeping for a while, and I've seen one online that is a mopar performance one that is 3 layers and will supposedly withstand boost... idk, I'd just try to get a Mopar one as a last ditch save to see if it will last, cause Fel pro is good, but there are better out there.

It really sucks seeing this thing go. Haven't even had a chance to wheel with you yet. Oh well, hopefully whatever you get next is still pretty capable offroad.
