I was more worried about getting a front diff cover since I'm out in ruts messing around half the time, was scared that I was going to slide off and dent the stock ones. But I got both for a good price.

I have another switch panel with 3 holes if you want it to get rid of that rocker switch for something that looks more oem. As for ext idle on mine, only thing I would use it for is winching. Big black aint got ac :smh:

And yeah I still have it, it's stock as far as I know. And if you want my stock covers to have as backups, let me know. Rear has a new rubber plug.
Dang $100 for both is a pretty sweet deal. As far as I know (from my experience, anyway) the front cover is fairly strong, I don't know how many ruts I've been through with my diffs dragging, but I do know that one big rock or stump will crumple it. Covers are on my to-do-list at some point. I probably would take you up on that panel but I've already put a aluminum rocker switch, holder/thing, into my shift bezel. Not 1/2 bad for quick work. probably could of made it better. Well that sucks, AC comes in real handy when it's in the 90-100+ in June-July.

How much do you want for the alternator? and I might get the covers, but not now, got to get more funds saved up, running really, really low. College dose that. Hopefully I can get some decent money this summer if I can get a job somewhere, that I can also keep during the Fall semester.

-new diff covers on, still need to do the rear.
-and yet another hatch from pullapart.... i need to stop backing into damn trees, limo tint sucks at night.
-new to me kicer comp 12''

Gears still look good, but I'm surprised yours didn't come with a LSD since it is pretty much a premium model with 3:73s and a tow package... But, the stock Jeep LSD for the Xjs from what I heard aren't that great anyway. Dang, you just replaced the hatch on there... maybe you need to put those LED light in the back until you get the flat ones to put back there... and maybe not limo the hatch window, just like 20% it or so, because it's still dark.

haha i know! the blue one was dented and not factory tinted, so glad i got a nicer one anyways. Gotta have my limo! not risking getting a window shattered and subs or yeti stolen.

Well, you could get a cargo rack like I got and put make a cover to cover the top of the rack and the sides so you can't see anything under it. I've had a rack from Dirtbound Offroad. for about 3 years and the same towel cut to fit the rack and snap into my side panels and I haven't had any problems, even without tint. Plus with subs (like me) I can put extra stuff in the back again without harming the subs.

I probably need to break down and get a hatch too. I hit a tree a long time ago (about a year after I got it) and destroyed the stock painted read bumper and got some hatch damage.... But I just bent it back in place. There is some rust spots where the pint flaked off where I bent it back in place, plus I think there is a slight crease. But I've had it like that for about 3 years and you can't really tell unless you look at the driver side bottom. Plus i'd have to pain it and It's doing me fine.

Nice!! I need a fan shroud too, the bottom of mine is gone. The skip plates will come in handy, I to get me some eventually. Getting a rear bumper is defiantly worth it, especially if you get one with a tire carrier.

Alright, sounds good. I'll put it in my Jeep to buy list. It's not of utmost importance, I haven't had the bottom of it on my Jeep for about 4 years. Got knocked of when my XJ was stock and I got ran off the road into a ditch... only thing that happened though. But it might also help with the heat soak I get when I go wheeling. Yeah, that's one of the only problems with a rack, but it's either that or I wouldn't be able to carry anything in the back of my Jeep, my sub box takes up the whole back. (2 12" Kicker CRVs)

Also if you haven't been able to find a roller fairlead, I still have that one that's just sitting in the top of my tool box. Been there for about 4-5 years. Still works great. Has some rust spots from where the cable rolled on the rollers, but it's just surface and could be cleaned up. If you want it, I doubt I'd ever use it.

Not much lately, new 12.5" light bar, new windshield and a lil more tint. 15% on the windshield. Broke the bank pretty good! Back to work.

The flip out? It fit fine. No cutting on any of Them. I've had 5 or so radios in it in the past years.
