Yeah man no problem, i have it on the back of my jeep. I got it from trifectaoffroad i think for like $7-$8. I thought it was pretty cool when i 1st saw it plus it has the stinger like my Cherokee so i had to do it. then i read cooters thread here and felt like ***** so i fet the need to plug it in and wish him the best.

man its been a while since ive updated, thanks for all the responses. yes im still alive haha but as for the xj.... not so well.

i ended up putting the motor back together, new power steering fan wheel and serpentine belt, new battery, oil change, radiator flush, injector rebuild, new radiator... crossed my fingers and it turned right over. no longer locked up. but still knocking. i ran some green stuff in my radiator and some lucas oil stabilizer to try and get to the bottom of my problem... but i was so happy it was running and not locked up anymore so i just had to take it for a spin..... about 30 minutes later i pull over and my oils green... heads burning up, oil cap melted to my valve cover and oil spitting out of my valve cover breather, temp guage is pegged out... you guessed it. cracked head. barely started but i drove it home from the side of the road... got it in the driveway and tried to run it and just heard metal to metal.. so guessing i threw rod. jeeps on its second trans and everything else so i guess my regasketing of the motor worked for a temporary fix and now im paying the price for halfassing my way fixing it last time. motors the only thing that hasnt been replaced so guess its time to throw more money at it! why not. J.E.E.P.

Picked up a 2001 California emissions 2 owner wrecked police jeep today! 150k miles vinyl seats and floors and most important a good motor to swap into the xj... Picked this bad boy up for 700$ 3 hours alway in Alabama with the commander, hopefully doing the straight swap soon!

Motor swappage is a go.... Cherokee nation. Talk about a pain. 3 days and it still isn't out!

Plans are to get the old one pulled and sold, pull the new motor out and scrap the blue xj then with that money rebuild the new motor and throw it in. Arp head studs... Felpro gasket kit... Resurface the head and block... Stay tuned
