Mine is running 3:55 gears at the moment. I've been told it's ok to run the 33's but it will feel weak.
I posted a thread over at MSJ about XJ Bumpers, getting some good (but expensive) suggestions there. I definitely think the bumper needs to come before the gears - I want recovery points on the front and the option of picking a winch if I run across a good deal later on.
Found a garage here locally with a lot of 4x4 experience that will do my SYE for $200
Planning on coming to the Spring Run? We need a good XJ crew!

Once you get your license you've got to bring that beast to one of the cruise-ins. I'm the only XJ at the Southaven one on Friday nights, need a fellow XJ there to show the frame-dependent Jeepers how it's done

thanks
its getting there.
just to make my jeep look tiny lol.....
and change of plans with the lights, im using the wiring kit that came with my new fogs and putting 2 of the pro comps on the bumper, so no lights on top for now.
still planning on getting 2 hellas for the bumper and will put the four lights back on top when i do, and maybe the square ones on the back.... lol might start looking to much like aircruiser's old 2 door with all those lights....

i realized i had to many lights when i counted 18 lights. from fog lights and driving lights to scene lights, strobes and rock lights.

and i actually just put all the lights i have up for sale, and am getting these... 2 hella black magics for the front and 2 optilux mounted on the back of my rack, i think is gonna look great.. found them both for 135$ shipped, so cant really pass up such a good deal on brand new lights.

But today Drove the jeep about 50 miles and when I cranked it up after we got through it ran like crap, Oil pressure almost went to 0 at idle and it was shaking all over..... Somethings up. But I did get a new tent:
