I was able to locate another grill, this is my 3rd. Iirc it came off a 93, which ended up being slightly different. Instead of the trim pieces on the top and bottom of the grill being separate, they were actually attached to the grill itself.

At first I was a bit concerned, but after a bit of scoring the bent edge with a razor blade I was able to gently bend the unwanted portion enough to cleanly remove it.

I took a bit of extra time with the razor to clean up the non factory edge.

I will get a pic of it on the truck later when there is better light.

I've been broke lately. Trying to buy a house.

But I do have a small project going with this:

New master and slave cylinders.

I just need to get the line that goes from the master to the slave.

OEM is rubber, I will probably try and get a stainless steel braided line.

Nope. But I came to a decision on my shift lever.

Gonna use a motorcycle chain that I will weld solid.

I've got an 87 XJ with an 89 trans and headlights from a Toyota MR2. Figure why not use even more parts from other vehicles.

But between the heat and having to move I have had little time to work on any project. It really sucks.
