No adjustments were made as of yet, they still need to be aimed, but last night wasn't the time to do it.
Goodbye angry eyes....for the time being...
Had to pretty much disassemble the headlight assemblies and the grill. Luckily for me someone stole my grill a few weeks ago, so that was already done.

During removal I stumbled across the reason for my passenger side headlight going out randomly when I hit large bumps.
After removal I started laying out the Putco harness where it would go.

It was easier to do this with the battery and air box out, but I'm sure it could have been done without doing so. I just like easy.
The Putco harness plugs right in to where the old bulbs plugged in on the old harness. I used the driver's side so the battery connections were closest to the battery, as the harness draws its power directly from the battery, putting it through the relays you get with the harness.
I didn't get a pic, but I wrapped the passenger side in electrical tape and tucked it out of the way, behind the headlight surround.

Once all the wiring was in place I started making room for the projector. They are slightly longer than the stock sealed beam, but I had a feeling they would be before this. So I drilled a hole with my biggest bit and used a sawz-all to make a 'bow-tie' like hole. With the two cuts I just bent the metal back to make the opening look like the bow, which perfectly fit the backing of the new housing.
From there I hooked the adapter (h4 to h7) that was supplied in my kit to the back of the housing, and then to the ballast that also came with the kit. There is one other plug from the ballast to the headlight harness, and then the grounds and the power wires from the harness. Those went direct to the battery for power, and to the upper radiator support for ground.

I also cut off the tabs that are on the rusty grey piece just above this post. Dunno what its called.
Once everything was wired I gave it a test and got nothing...I was nervous.
My buddy Chad noticed that the Putco plug and the projector plug had different power locations, so he switched them around for me. They lit right up.

I only have one problem with all of this...Someone stole your grill! How rude. I can only imagine what the result would be if I caught someone steeling from me or anyone for that matter. Just pisses me off beyond belief. Other than that those are some sweet headlights you have there. I barely notice when my headlights are on lol.

Or trade me for them!
