So, I've neglected this thread a bit. I've been in the works of catching up on money and whatnot. But I just recently made a steering box brace as well as a transfer case skid plate. the skid plate is made from 3/16 or 1/4 inch steel, It's scrap. And the steering box brace was made from the old tierod. thought I'd get back to my roots as a junkyard build for a while. =D

I finished the skid plate, pretty sturdy and it's out of the way of the transmission mount bolts and everything. seems like it's going to be very functional. =D

I love the iro's. They flex ridiculous. I think that they had an issue with it when they first came out, and have since then been revised. If I ever have an issue with them, I'll let them know, they have good customer service. =D I recommend them to ANYONE

So, i've been neglecting this thread. Sometimes you just don't want to have to post. lol. But since my last post, My flex plate went out. Replaced that a week later when it FINALLY got here. She was pretty shot, maybe i still have a picture of that. also, got 1-ton steering (rugged ridge) and a new trackbar (rough country). finished my axle truss, and I finally sealed up my goddamn moon roof leak! also ordered a pizza from dominoes on my birthday, Pan style, absolutely everything on it. 26 toppings plus they put noodles on it. That was my very drunk friend apollo holding the pizza in the picture.

It was a compliment ****er haha I got my build thread updated finally so if ya wanna see more of it, but I am keeping this one low, 4" and 36s, locked and built 30/8.8, gas tank lift eventually with clocked tcase and flat belly, suck down winch, yadda yadda, its gonna be a trailer queen, I got a truck now to tow it. We will definitly be going up to gilbert this summer and youre more than welcome to come with. Trying to make atleast 3 trips. I want to get my rig done by memorial day weekend and maybe take it to dresser but might go to gilbert instead.

that's really the way to go. I'm not going any higher at all. I do need to change my shackle angle in the rear so I was thinking about going with these

But yeah, I did look at your rig, looks awesome! I really want some q78's. Just waiting for the right time. Got a few other maintenance crap things to fix first. Also, you cheated in your pictures, shocks weren't attached! I was thinking about going fox 12" travels.

Looks good! Those look interesting. What have you found for reviews on them. That nylon slider would definitely be a wear item when dirt and mud get in there. With shackles you would have one more bushing so maybe get more flex but I guess that's the point of them sliding.

they nylon slider is only like two bucks a peice. and I have no idea how long those last? But i'd stock up. and the reviews are excellent. They're more stable, add 1 inch lift over stock, and because they are like 7 or 8 inch long slides, that's how much more movement you get on that rear axle. Me still having a slip yoke, makes me a little uneasy. lol. I'll show you a picture of those things flexing out
