well, i haven't updated in a long time, been pretty broke for a while, being conservative and whatnot. I'm just about over the hump, investing in some tools and a set of bilstein 5150's for the front. The junkyard stage is officially over due there only being one more thing i want from a junkyard (rear discs) and the junkyards out here are spendy. =(

I've been running 33's for two years now i believe, and after this last wheeling trip, it was the first time i've ever had ball joint play. Honestly, the dana 30 might be one of the smallest front axles, but I'm convinced it's the strongest axle for it's size. few minor upgrades and it's virtually indestructible lol. did my brakes today! The brake booster will be here on tuesday.

oh yeah, definitely. and thanks for commenting, I didn't notice you posted on here sorry! I haven't really done anything significant lately til now, I did the cut fold on the rear quarter panels! =D and I went wheeling and really gunned her, kicked her *** because I haven't got wheeling in so long. but It was a blast, only carnage was a wrecked Ujoint that proceeded to wreck the output shaft seal which spewed tcase fluid everywhere. lol. Xjchase was there also, here's the pictures and link to the Video!!

also trimmed up my bumper some. I was bashing it on rocks and trees and whatnot, gain a little clearance. Also starting to get a little rough lifter noise, at 221,000 miles. maybe time for a new cam and lifters. =D

Not a bad idea. I think it's worth it to make sure your head is straight and valves have a good seal. Maybe a little hotter cam too.

Yeah, I'm not sure when I'll be doing the Cam and Lifters, it stopped making the noise, so one can only assume that it's something intermittent like a lifter. but when i do get them, it'll be a cam probably with more duration and lift, I need one for more torque, and a little extra power.
