OK, gonna go see what its made of tomorrow so some pics from todays adventures. Pulled the axle to find it full of water, got a seal, which was the wrong one. Dodge dealership was the only place that had it. Fixed that moved to the diff's, serviced them and rattle canned the covers. Installed some cup holders for the trip, a fire ext., my tools, and last but not least , since all I had was JE.. I went to just J. I mean hey, its a jeep, thats the only letter that matters right.

Don't look like that diff is welded after all.

Yeah, thats kind of why I poted those pics. Im no diff expert but I know about welding spiders, and there are no welds. Both wheels turn, I was told that when lifted standard rear when spun wheels will turn opposite?? well anyway, I was thinking of starting a new thread in tech questions as to this. Does this look like the standard ring/carrier/spiders to everyone?

Kinda looks like there might be some clutches in there and if so you got a track loc and need to add a friction modifier. I personally haven't seen one of the factory LSDs but it doesn't look like a open carrier.
