Engine: 4.0 liter I6
Project "Budget Blue"
1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. 4.0 H.O., AW4. 146K. Picked it up for $200.
Here she is:
Pretty clean inside for a 92'
The head gasket is blown on it....are some pics of the progress I made today on teardown
Head removed:
Motor mounts were busted, installed new ones since i was there:
The Hardest of the two:
The Easy one:
Both are the same part number fit perfect:
Oil pan off for bottom end inspection since I saw some sludge up top, not too bad will be doing some cleaning and a rear main.
Parts Pile to be replaced:
New Gaskets and cleaned Parts ready to go in.
Thats it for now...have to drop the head off at the machine shop tomorrow, and grab some more parts..will update soon.
