You must not offroad much..

Going low is good..I have a low cog rig..But that being said, lift kits actually are not over rated. Your doing a good job but you will be amazed what a few inches will do to your clearance and flex.

Clearence isnt an issue, i removed more than enough sheet metal for the tires to rub. Ground clearence should be sufficient. I'm not gonna try and run the Rubicon in this thing, so i can think of no practical reason to lift it!

I doubt i would be amazed, I've had a few lifted trucks

4" of lift and 35x10.5

3" of lift, alot of trimming, and 33X12.5

5" lift in the front, 2" in the back, 2wd prerunner 33x12.5 and loves to get airborn

New lights

Edge molding I found at work, this stuff is legit, no adhesive it has metal liner so it pinches itself in place, i don't see it falling off!

Well I went into work this morning and the job I was supposed to do Gallo Wine was cancled.

So lets make some Jeep parts instead!

When i trimmed the fenders i had to remover the rubber inner fender wells, makes it very easy for mud and water to end up in the door jam.

Yesterday I went to La Grange OHV, it didnt take long to find a Dodge Dakota burried in a mud hole. Mud way above the rockers and getting into the cab. Took awhile but i got him out!

When it was all said and done that pocket i exposed by trimming the fenders was pack nicely with mud, something had to be done about this!

Broke up, and rolled a pair of beads to stiffen up the 22ga galv.

Painted black and instaled with a couple of sheet metal screws

Took longer for the paint to dry then it did to actually fab them. This wont completely seal them up, but it will keep the majority of debris out.

really like those inner fender fillers...or whatever you'd call em lol I need to make a set of those for my heep, I still have the factory plastic there but the fenders are trimmed so it looks like crap cause it's hanging down a little.
Likewise I was going to avoid lift but I ended up gettting a deal on lift parts I couldn't pass up....
Good luck with the build man looks good.
