lol. well good news!!!

got a free piece of 1.25" x 0.188" DOM. it was a scrap piece so it is not long enough to do a full steering set up with weld in bungs. but it is enough to sleeve my current tie rod which is what I will do. YAY!

if you can find me a zj tie rod that would be bomb! it would have to be about $20 or so. if not I will run this set up once I complete it

so I wont need that ZJ upgrade. HOLLY COW!!! this just improved my steering feel 10 fold! (other than needing to do an alignment in the morning).

It just looks awesome under there too! (day time picture tomorrow)

but here is whats up:

Day time picture.

I would rather tun it as is for now and then go to a 1 ton set up.

My steering angles are pretty wack as it is (drives fine but in the back of my mind it is still a little uncomfortable

i am UTK now and have been thinking of FrankZ's knuckle inserts that way I can do OTK later. just swap the insert... but I need funding first. lol

still running strong.

it has been seeing some love. Kept clean, tires are still way to small and just being driven! haha

there is some stuff called VHT Nightshades, comes in a spray can and can be bough at local auto parts store. I don't remeber if that's what the OP used but it will do the same job.....just a little fyi....

BTW... OP. Awesome build. i just read through your entire build thread.... i feel very connected to your rig. lol. awesome job man. keep up the good work and inspiration.

yup VHT Night shade is waht I used and will use again on the new tail lights!
