picked up 4 stock 16x7 ford ranger rims since they have the same bolt pattern. and they were FREE...

I also found a set of take off 235/75R16 tires for $60. I am going to see if i can get them friday if they are not sold. Then i will have a set of road tires and wheeling tires. the 235's are going to be a little small but for in town its alright with me, not that big of a deal. and i get to save my super swampers tread on road trips



might paint them black tho...

your telling me.... It was nice to hear the tires roar down the road while on the trailer tho! lol. But what is left to do has been the same stuff....

4 ball joints. 2 adjustable(uppers) 2 standard (lowers) and 2 axle seals.

I have a new mirror the for drivers side and 3rd brake light to replace my broken one. On the 19th it should be complete unless I can sell something before then to make up some cost....

 

Well battery was not holding a charge. So... Got it replaced for free!! this battery is nearly $200 and i bought my last one at the end of july so it better have been free.. They have since switched to maintenance free batteries So i got an upgrade. No longer have to check water levels. I did go up in amperage too. I went from 710/635 to 815/725. I am happy with that!

I got 4-2005 ford ranger 16x7 rims for free (they are chocking the tires right now, you can see them in the photos above) i am going to throw street tires on them so i have another set of tires just for the roads and traveling. And better gase mileage. Might look a little funky but.... Trade offs. and i get to keep my swampers from being torn up.

forget the whole moving into the house deal and get the jeep going again its more important!! paint those ford rims black and get transformer logo stickers for the center caps thatd look pretty cool

 

I moved from Valley/picacho to Missouri and Locust. just closer to campus and away from a ****ty landlord...

But I know a powder coater guy who said $50 for all 4 rims in a glossy black.

And Once i get my ball joints the thing will be running! it is all ready to go but i need ball joints.... lol

 

some updates for the jeep:

threw the roof rack on, ran it again today, and cleaned up the interior.
just need to get some washers and then I can instal the mirror.

 

Another update. I installed a new driverside mirror and my 3rd brake light just now. It looks good again with a mirror lol

 

mmmm that trail damage looks good, i need some, all i have is a big scratch down the whole passanger side that everybody thinks it been keyed haha
