So, I have long forgotten how useful this site is, and how much interaction you can get.
My first post in 2020 I wasn't grown so I had a buncha baby projects and baby ideas for the jeep and I have so many more now, and I have been in and out of so many threads. Figured I'd start a new one.
RJ is my problem child. I got her in 2019 or 2018 (i don't remember which) and i haven't done a lot however;
- installed a bubbler (vs that hose that spits air out the top of the engine back into the airbox)
- replaced the radiator
- replaced the headlights for some nice bright LEDs
- replaced the stereo with a bluetooth enabled one
- replaced the drivers side leaf spring
Next up is getting it up on a lift with a pneumatic ugga dugga gun (impact driver) to get the rust-welded bolts on the passenger spring to spin out. So I can replace that one too.
I need to install a new headliner, and replace the floorpans. new blower motor, new blend-door actuator, new heater core, sound deadening, replace the passenger window actuator, install subs (not obnoxious ones, i just want to re-route bass to its own speaker so the music quality is better), and fix the lift gate latch which wont lock period or unlatch unless you apply downward pressure. then the rest is cosmetic.
*topic of discussion* floor pans.
Anybody have any tips? looks and sounds like it'll be a bit of a ***** to get it done.
