I might as well throw up the pics of my dana 30 I overkilled with strenghening the axle tube and control arm brackets. It was mainly for the control arm brackets cause I've seen somebody wreck them before.

A few days ago. I bought a lock right from somebody on the sis forum. had to drive about a hour to get it. But was worth it.
Some people said I wouldint be able to drive on pavement. Thats bull and not true.
it dosint engage until one wheel slips.
if anything this locker made my jeep even more fun to wheel with!

here's how I did the diff cover. Got the tubes from plumbing section at Home Depot. So far it's holding up good against whatever I bang or scrape it on.

just reminder I switched the fill plug to take a 9/16 wrench since now you can't get a ratchet in there. and also theres a possibility of it interfering with the steering if it's out to far or up to high.
