]I started working on my front bumber. Got about 6 hours into it so far and still not done. But at least now it's on and I don't need to take it off again. :D |

And then today 1 week later did my frame brackets and spent $200 bucks on a new gear box because the bolts holding it in broke :cursing: And did some reinforcing. I made sure to use antiseize on the new gear box bolts to. |

Like I said. it's not finnished yet but looking good and strong. Still gotta fill in the corners and deciding on how to mount a winch. behind it and just have a fairlead with a hook sticking out of the middle or just build a mount on the outside..

looks really good!
what gauge steel is that? i hope it is atleast 3/16" thick.... |
Yup 3/16. I went with that because I wanna keep it light. But I was thinking if it's put together right then it shouldint go anyware.
|
Great work. I like it
|
Nice bumper. I went with 3/16" on mine too. I don't expect it to go anywhere anytime soon :D OH and nice helmet :D

awesome! i would add some ribs along the entire "inside" between frame mounts atleast. That way when you winch you dont just simply bend the nice new bumper.
Great work tho. I like it |

Just checked 96xj's Bumper. Looks really really good man. I don't think u can buy anything better than a home fabbed bumper. That piece of steel cost $130 5X4. shop supplies still pending on another bill.
