This week I'm going through the pita process of getting my XJ ready for paint.
Today I'll start by folding the rear and lining up the doors. I'm not doing any body work whatsoever because there's no point pulling dents if I'm gonna make new ones

 

So I got everything together like said it would a waste to do any bodywork lol

I painted the hood the other day just to see how it would come out and I think it looks like a pumpkin lol so I'm gonna mix some red in there to darken it.

 

And time to weld.

 

Got one side done.

 

I can't really read the name of the paint or the brand. Since I, unlike yourself, like that color orange can you post the actual color and brand. It seems to have a stock number but that is way too small for these old eyes Dan.

Whats the best way to get rid of rusty rockers with a slider upgrade is there a thread on this topic already?

duuuuuuuhhh... Yea once I saw how much wheel well I had after lol 33's are starting to look small.
