Opted to start running brake lines since I’ll have to wait til after the holiday season to have a chance of my perches showing up... go figure all our local shops would be sold out lol. Once I get weight on it I’ll install the rubber line drop bracket I never installed with the lift kit and bolt the block in and hook the breather back up and call it good.

Been awhile, but put the Jeep back together while I wait on the slow boat to bring me what i need for the one tons. Have been playing around with it and actually putting some miles on it and can say I’m pretty happy with it for what it is. Lockers sure hook up nice trying to climb icy hills

T
Took the Jeep out for some camping finally. Overall did pretty well. Also picked up the 5 speed ax15 that’ll be getting bolted up to the 4.0 when I get around to swapping over for the 2.5l.

Works been kinda slow so haven’t had much spare cash to work on the tons, but got the perches welded in and other than that have just been playing around with the Jeep.

Got the rear axle bolt in ready (other than gears) and started the truss on the front axle. Should be getting the brackets this weekend as well as ordering 5.38 gears, lockers, rebuild kits, and various other pieces once my tax return shows up. Pretty stoked to finally be in the final stages of getting these tons done after watching em collect dust the last few months.

axles ready to bolt in as far as bracketry goes. Just need lockers and gears and they’ll be ready to drop in the Jeep! Also talked to a buddy about trading the guts from my d44 for his Eaton M62 supercharger. Planned on boosting the 4.0 ill
be swapping in, so this makes it a lot easier.

Got the rear end in today. Netted another 2” of wheel base, should stuff the 40s or 42s pretty nicely. Front axle should follow shortly.

Got the upper link mount welded in and ready for when the d44 finally gets pulled. And at long last the rest of my parts finally showed up so I can start setting gears and getting ready to drop in the front. Just need to buy rotors and manual locking hubs and I should be all set to go

Jeep looks good. Really liking the color scheme you have going. Not sure if you mentioned it, but what trackbar are you running on the half ton setup?
