Spur of the moment wheeling trip out with a good buddy. Might be time to start searching for a replacement for my rear lsd. Works when ya don’t need it and doesn’t when ya do, go figure right? Lol.

Works been really busy, so haven’t had a lot of time for Jeep fun. But finally had an opportunity to take the ol 2 door out for some camping. Other then the typical rainy Alaskan weather, couldn’t ask for a better weekend.

really haven’t kept up with this lol. Anyway, managed to get an ok deal on a set of 39.5x13.5 iroks for the Jeep. The 5.38s definitely like those tires more lol

Had a good time out wheeling with some buddies. Jeep did about as good as you could expect given the warm temps we’ve had and the rotten ice

Got a lot going on since the last time I’ve been on here. Stretched the rear end back another 3” with iron man 4x4 fabs front spring brackets as well as installed some Srbs. Cut open the rear wells, which will be getting plated. Cut out the rockers for 2x6 and boat sides. And also ordered artecs
crossover steering setup to fix some play in the steering and net some better steering angles

it was a tad bit rusty back there lol. I think imma plate it with 3/16” or 1/8” depending on how thick I do the floors on the boat sides. Regardless it’ll be a bit more sturdy then factory. Just need to plan a cage and we’ll be ready to rock and hopefully not roll

It would appear that I may just be able to tuck a full size spare up in here lol. Gonna tie it into the shock hoop and later this year a full interior cage. Just gotta skin the other side fender in and figure out how I’ll fit the tire carrier in here in a way that I can tuck all my tools and trail gear underneath
