Yeah so this is my cherokee. It's a '94 2wd with the HO 4.0. It has the 5spd that I think is the ax15 and a 8.25 rear end. Just been toying around with it for the past few months. just trimmed the fenders in prep for a set of 31x9.5 Tsl. It's gonna get a 4x4 conversion sometime but I've also been toying with the idea of swaping in a set of axles from a 78-79 bronco.. The suspension is stock right now but I'm gonna do a budget lift pretty soon using the bronco springs up front and make a bastard pack for the rear.

thought about it but since I'm in florida the desert is a little far away. That and the suspension is a little pricey for prerunner stuff.

Jeep Speed build or swap in 4x4. Either way it's a Jeep and a start..

Looks like a good start man! And welcome to the forum! Where are you located in FL? I'm in the Sarasota area. I'm also building a 2WD XJ with dreams of going 4x4. Keep us posted on your progress, I'll be keeping an eye on your build for sure!

Went and painted the floorboards with POR15 yesterday. I'm still debating whether to put the topcoat paint on it or not because the por15 is uv sensitive. Overall I'm very happy how it turned out. Now rust should not be an issue.

Rustys Offroad has some Bilstein 5150 shocks for $99ea that could probably take care of you when jumping...I'd be afraid the axles or steering components would snap though.

I just noticed the dates on this thread...kinda old...but powerblock tv did a Jeep Speed build and they used a Rusty's 6.5" long arm kit for their baja cherokee
