i am painting my jeep Cherokee with a beautiful chalkboard paint and i am using a paint sprayer so i don't have to go back and buy a bunch of spray paint but my question is would a quart work in this scenario
so far i have sprayed the hood with spray paint and it looked nice and i ran out of room to draw on account of all the ***** drawn on it...-_-

o the paint yes i have seen it done a few times to some cars and it looked real cool so i wanted to try it and i would have to guess that if it lasted on there cars it should work on my jeep right?
On a serious note - I highly doubt that chalkboard paint will hold up to sunlight, weather, scratches, etc in an auto platform. Especially if you'll be doing any wheeling. Durability is king.
On another note - This is entertaining!

As far as amount - For the whole Jeep with good coverage and several coats, probably closer to a gallon. But I've never worked with chalkboard paint...on a vehicle...before...
Be sure to post pics if you do it. I'd like to see what it looks like.
