What did you get the drive shaft out of ? And was it a manual trans or an auto?
I bought 2 grand cherokee front shafts they are 2" longer Guessing because they had 242 Tcases) than the XJ auto trans 231 drive shafts. You do need to have alittle room between the slip yoke and the drive shaft I have 1-1.5 on mine and I cut 1.25 inches off when doing my Ir HnT.

I just put on my lift and you have it on correctly the problem is your shackles are long in the back a shackle relocation brackets should do the trick lowering the angle and will probably help your ride as well.
Your jeep looks great keep up the good work I've enjoyed watching what your doing to it.

Keep checking back if you want. I will have one made at some point.

Have not updated this thread in a while. I have some pending issues with my Heep, nothing major, then the heater core went out. I was like that's it, I am selling the dang thing.
I asked for some opinions on what other people would do and got some great answers on whether to keep it or sell it. I did post it in the for sale section and have not got any hits on it so I believe that is my answer and I will just keep it and repair what needs to be repaired and keep on building the rig.
In the mean time while I was debating this I had started a home made roof rack. I was going to throw it in with the sale of the vehicle but since no one was interested I went ahead and painted it and installed it.
I wound up using 8 sticks total, a can of primer, and a can and a half of paint, and 4 u-bolts to install it.
Here are some pictures:

I ordered a new heater core and evaporator core to replace the bad ones. Also got a new a/c kit that came with new ac compressor, accumulator, expansion device, oil, and o-ring kit. I think I may go ahead and put a new condenser in as well as new a/c lines and just make everything new.
I will post pics of dash removal because I have not been able to find much on this other than just a description of how to do it with no pictures. Should be fun...haha.
Next on the list will be 4:56 gears. Tired of **** poor gas mileage and loss of power.

Bumper isn't too hard to build. My biggest problem is lack of time...

I'd love to make by own bumper but there's this whole thing about me not knowing how to weld...
I can do that rack though. My son has a '94' JK so we're gonna make 2 of them once it finally gets warm.
Honestly, who doesn't like a nice rack.

I have talked myself into building a rear bumper. I have to get the heater core and a/c repaired first and install my gears I just ordered. After that I am going to start on the rear bumper (with a tire carrier).

Well I tore out my dash and got to the heat/ac box. Removed it and replaced the evaporator and heater core. The box had coolant in the bottom where it had been leaking. Both units were shot.
Got the heat/ac box back in and started to put the dash back together. I decided to check the blend door switch before I got everything put back in. Good thing I did because the blend door is binding on something. So....I have to take it back out and take the box apart to see what the deal is.
I noticed the the two halves of the heater box were a little snug going back together when I reassembled them. I did not force anything but it was snug. I am thinking the one of the after market cores was a little taller than the stock ones. Just enough to make the hinges too tight for the blend door to function properly. This is my guess.
Needless to say I did not get it all put back together today. It will be waiting on me next weekend. Kind of bummed. I was hoping to get it all knocked out today.
