Well the weather has not been good enough for me to get out in a cold garage and work on this thing but I am still collecting parts so when the spring rolls in I will get busy on the jeep.
Picked up a set of Canyon rims yesterday off Craigslist for $100. Not bad I didn't think. I will start looking for some 31's as the ones on these rims are pretty well done.

If you are referring to the BF Goodrich tires on the canyon rims, yes they came with them but they are shot. There is one good one out of the four that I will keep for a spare. I knew the tires were shot up front. I just wanted the rims. $100, can't beat it.

Well, I have never owned a vehicle that I had the transmission go out on. Now I can say it sucks. Last week it started acting up so I figured I would put it in the shop and get it looked at on Monday. So over this past weekend I went ahead and finished the lift. Figured what the heck right? Take it to the shop Monday and the guy wants $1800 to rebuild it. I said to heck with that. What about a junk yard tranny? He did not want to do it because he could make no guarantees. He said he would just drive it until it completely quit. So I said fine.
I pick it up Monday eve. Guess when that beech goes out completely? Tuesday morning on my way to work!!! Had to have it towed. I was semi close to my work so I had it towed to a shop there. Found a used 2000 model tranny at the junk yard for $150 and the shop is charging $400 labor to put it in plus new seals and fluid. Hope to have it back tomorrow.
Anyway, here is some pics of last weekends follies!
