Wow I saw this and thought it was going down hill at first but this thing is really turning around in a good direction. Got any plans for the rust?... Just POR15 everything underneath.

how was it going downhill? the underneath of the jeep is clean. on the quarters i am going to cut up to the quarter gaurds then weld new metal from the gaurds to the floor pan and seal it up and will also probably re-work the wheel wells welding to the gaurds....over the winter the rear frame is getting fixed just a small hole under where the filler tubes go through im gonna drop the tank and box that section then weld on rear stiffeners...and also this winter the rockers are getting cut out and 2x6 is getting welded in...after my wheeling trip next weekend i will also be replacing my passenger fender and both passenger doors....

 

found this for my fiancee today i have wanted to replace the two-door that got wrecked on her...small accident but she is worth saving

 

havent done much to the xj but went wheeling at Field & Forest with NAXJA and had loads of fun...due to not everyone showing up i wheeled class 6 roads friday but then on saturday got to do quite a few greens and blues which were actually challenging in quite a few spots due to the massive thursday rainstorm...








damage report: scraped the crap out of the passenger doors and can barely open the right rear now...rockers are nearly non-existant from dragging over rocks passenger so much that have started denting the bottom of the b-pillar so no more wheeling until 2x6 gets done, and the JCR quarter guards saved my windows at least twice and helped push me off trees....
