New Jeep
this is a really cool thread because that was exactly what my XJ looks like now, and almost exactly what its going to look like in the future (6.5" lift and 33" tires instead) Thanks for a glimpse of the Future

you dont need 6.5 inches of lift to run 33's. i like being around 5 inches. trimmed fenders so i have plenty of clearance for the tires. unless you are not wanting to trim too much, then you will need the extra height.
jeeps at a shop close to my house right now, couldnt get pressure in the brake lines after the axle swap. Bled them all about 8 times, so i know its not air in the system. Looking like the master cylinder could be messed up. didnt have time to look at it, since im working today, and i leave tomorrow morning for west virginia.

old track bar out next to new double shear one from iron rock:

new bracket installed:

installed:

Drives a little bit better...bump steer seems to be gone, even flexed it out on a dirt mound, everything works well.

Hate to be the one to point it out but your track bar looks like you installed it upside down.
I only say that cause i just installed the very same track bar (but from Rough Country).
Looks good though.

yea you're wrong. its an 8.8 trust me
disc brakes + the sensor on top for the tone ring are 2 give-aways, also the bottom doesnt have the flat lip (you can see its more oval in the 2nd pic), and where the drive shaft hooks up there isnt a yoke.
the first pic is the 8.25 i took out an sold

finally got my wheel spacers on the rear:

got shims in there as well, feels like its driving a little smoother.
stripped the bleeder, had to buy a new caliper...only 18 bux thou

new tie rod installed, with a diy alignment:

ears are bent on the passenger side stub shaft, im gettin a shop to spread them back and install a u joint. ive got an older shaft with the smaller size ujoint in there now.

here's why i went doorless...carnage from Golden MTN trip with Naxja crew:
slid off a rock into a tree pretty hard, ripped the handle off and dented both doors

u joint snapped 5 minutes into the 1st trail (i was running my spare shaft on the passenger side since i didnt have time to get my regular one installed before the trip...oops) all 4 ears were screwed up as well

2 hours later i was back on the trail thou...and wheeled sat/sun
