Nice work. Now you need some Artec hi steer arms and ARP studs with a single ended hydro ram going to a passenger side double sided arm for assist for full hyrdro. Thats the only thing easy about the KP axles I like.

I miss building my axles and swap. Now mine just sits.

I was thinking BTF but regardless, I have absolutely nothing to spend on this thing anymore lol. I'll buy a locker next week and tear apart everything I just put together..

Went camping last weekend. Got home, did a couple burnouts on some stock tires and started cutting into the rear fenders. Also picked up my 14 bolt. All new brakes, lines, seals, bearings and 5.13 Yukon gears. Plan is to stretch the axle back an inchor two and stretch the fender wells about 4 inches back, an inch forward and about 2 inches up. Still need to fill in the gaps with some 12ga.

I should try to run this things with no lift lol. My fitment should be almost perfect tucked with a 1 inch stretch. It should sit about 5-6 inches taller seeing that I have 29 inch tires on now

I hate sheetmetal too, but it'll be worth it! Great build

Front axle is in. Going to have to pull it a couple more times but I'm happy. No track bar yet that's why it's leaning

Got the other rear fender tubbed. Drilled and welded my crack on the front of the frame and made a big stiffener that will go from the front bumper to the mid frame stiffeners. Set my pinion angle in the rear and was welding on the perches when I ran out of gas.. then found out my front driveshaft is about an inch too long.. oh joy.

She'll probably fold in half lol

Been working on this thing everyday for the past 4 days. The front axle is done, brake lines on, all steering on and tight. The rear axle is under, tubes welded and painted.

Funny thing is up until this point in my build, I've never had a sye lol so I took the opportunity to put IROs in last night. Cut the shaft cut and the 1/4 hole drilled. Broke the 5/16 though so I'll try again tonight.. picking up my driveshaft too from the shaft after its been shortened. Then I just need to run two new lines on the rear axle since they're leaking, bleed the brakes and we're done

Does yours have a 242? If it's a 231 I'd say it might be a better idea to run a full replacement shaft like the one in the advance adapters kit, since you're running 44s I assume the entire driveline is under a lot more strain. The short shaft you get in that SYE kit is way beefier than the stock output shaft. If it were my rig I'd do it just for the peace of mind of not having to worry about my output shaft snapping on the trail
