I like the welder you just have to take breaks or you overload it.
3 weeks ago on a Wednesday dirtbound said they'd build a new one and ship it out Friday. That surprised me being so quick. Got another email Friday saying they missed the truck so it would ship Monday. Two weeks go buy and no bumper and I got an email two days ago for some reason it never left on the truck and that it is now on its way..

Got my D-ring shackles and tire carrier spindle from AtoZ fab. Haven't gotten much else done with the bumper but I'll do some more tomorrow morning.

Also when I got in my little wreck, maybe 9 months ago, I had to replace my front axle. I dumped my old axle at my high school in December and no one ever took it or dumped it lol so I went back tonight and grabbed it and brought it back. It's going to be my mock up for my next big mod. WJ knuckles.

Nice. I'm glad you didn't just butt weld them to the bumper, being through welded on multiple plains is mo better. I gave up on WJ swap, can't wait to see yours.

Why'd you give up? Seems pretty straight forward. My hubs, ball joints, and steering is all bad so it's the same price to do the swap as it is to say do a IRO one ton kit

I didn't want to polish my 30 that much if I'm just gonna go one tons. I was gonna do ruffstuff steering and track bar and all that jazz.

I still need to do the drivers side but it was easy. Now I can finish off the wings of my bumper and have supports under the quarter

I'm actually thinking about building tube fenders that weld into my rear bumper, then 2x6 sliders then my front bumper for almost like a small cage
