Hello I have a 2000 jeep cherokee with a 6.5in rough country lift with 3in coil spacers and 3in blocks so 9.5 total..it is my daily driver so I need to know soon why its death shaking. I have an after market steering stabilizer and the trac bar that came with it with lift...I still have a stock tie rod and I was thinking that might be it? Please help thanks so much!

With out pics of your set up it's hard to say just what you have going on...but at 9.5 " lift and you are as you say running stock steering I would have to say that is your problem???? Just a wild guess! Good luck

With that big of a lift, and not seeing any pictures, It could be anything. It might be your caster though, I know before I got my new control arms my caster was off and caused death wobble after 5 inches of lift.... you could probably use a good alignment. Like others were saying though, I would get rid of the 3 inch coil spacers and blocks. That is ridiculously high for a DD. With that much lift every suspension and steering component along with your drive shafts need to be replaced and upgraded. 6.5 inches is much more manageable, should drive better, and will be safer.

Why in the world so high? It serves no purpose offroad, and you will be snapping shafts just to fit big enough tires on there to look decent. That aside, lower it, check your track bar bolts, check tie rod ends for play, tighten steering box bolts, check/set your castor, get out a tape measure and check your toe I recommend 1/8" toed in, lift each front tire of the ground seperately and see if you can shake either tire side to side or up and down. Side to side means bad hubs, up and down means bad ball joints. Check your axle housing to see if it is bent, check your pinion angle and driveshaft u joints, Check around steering box for cracks, inspect track bar bracket for signs of play or cracks. Every time one of my jeeps has aquired DW it has been caused by the track bar or the track bar bracket. Don't let anyone tell you its your steering stabilizer because its not and that can only cover up the problem. Also check all bushings on your control arms and other joints.
