Hey your right David! Thank you for pointing that out to me. I absolutely blew by it. But here's the pictures of my hood when I found it on eBay. Unfortunately the guy doesn't sell them anymore. I guess he started taking advantage of people. He had a lot of negative feedback and was no longer a member of eBay.

I picked it up for $300 hundred dollars Plus shipping. Then I had a friend of mine who Works in the body shop, told me that I needed to have the glasswork done because there was a few small warbles in it, and it needed to be painted. Then he said the fiberglass will rot if it wasn't painted. (Since I am a painting contractor) I then worked out a deal with the shop owner to repaint his offices in trade for the work on my hood. When it was all said and done it cost me around $1300. But I am very happy with it! Here it is after it was all done.

Well Thank you Ryan! The lights were a lot of fun to make. If you enjoy working with your hands and take your time, I'm sure you will do great! . If you have any questions, I'm always glad to help if I can.

Ya but cash out of pocket was only the $300 plus shipping. The rest was just time, and it was my slow part of the season. Plus I got to be around the shop to watch the progress of my hood

My favorite build thread! Mainly because of the purpose you built the XJ for. Most are built purely for recreation, this one is a work horse. The SAR stuff is probably has its share of fun to.
