Ok that's what I thought but wasn't sure haha. Yea u can get a little 110 flux welder at Home Depot for like 400 or maybe borrow a mig? It would probably be a pain in the *** the use the arc especially if its the ac buzz box. I wanna do that project again I just wanna save my money lol

Yeah we have a big nice 220 Lincoln like you do iirc and I've never welded with mig before... My buddy has one I can use at his shop and so does my grandpas friend but I'm gonna enroll in our tech schools welding class and do that and my electronic class this summer... Maybe I can come up with a few little projects there, I want to do the same steering set up you have also. I'm going to order the ruff stuff 3/4 heim kit w/o the DOM tubing and source it myself. What did you weld that together with? I want to go OTA track bar too

Ok yeah there is no way in hell I would be able to weld my hex inserts in the DOM with my arc welder lol thanks! That's my summer project after 4wd swap
Hey man awesome build! So I'm going to be making my own steering similar to yours. Did you have to relocate your tracbar to the the top of the axle? Was there clearance issues? Was that the reason to relocate it? Is it a must do or can you leave it in the stock location for now?

Thanks! I'm not sure if u can run a track bar in the stock location because u have to cut stuff off the axle to clear the tie rod. but I needed an adjustable and I like the idea of over the axle and this was easy to make. Although with JCRs setup you may be able to run stock/adjustable track bar in stock location..

Don't be fooled. It's not so "cheap" in the end as u will find out Heims along with high misalignment spacers and hardware all add up. Though it will be cheaper then some kits probably. Tie rod ends are also a bit expensive But good luck and let me know if you have questions

just found my steering box bolts so I can finish bending and mount the pieces to weld
