sounds like the motor or regulator is failing.

anyways, here is a rough idea of what it would look like. it's ot perfect, but it's close. bedliner would be a little darker, but if i tried to make it darker with photoshop it wouldn't look right. hope it helps you with your decision.

Not bad. I don't know how I feel about coming up that high on the doors but ultimately it's up to you of course. I'm probably going to do mine in dip just so that it's not permanent. I did my grille and headlight bezels this past week black. And I'm either going to just redo what I already have on the body or do something complete different for an event we have coming up in my area.

Been trying to reply but my phone is steady messing up on me lol
Anyways BKohs thanks for the photoshop man... however after seeing that rough draft kinda makes me reconsider lol I just think the black is too much w/ the white, but looks awesome on Future's rig. I might just re-dip my rockers and also thinking about doing my rear qtr panels like NJXJ did. I really wanna do those A-Pillar LED cube mounts so bad!!! Just need a little more cash first lol.. Anyways for an inexpensive, and actually pretty beneficial I just ordered a locking gas cap off eBay for $11 + shipping. I actually lost my gas cap and this is a good idea to have a locking one. Ya never know with people nowadays

no problem bro. i forgot to uplaod the other one i did, i'll put it up when i get home. it doesn't come up so high on the side so it still has the trailhawk look, but it looks much better than going to the upper body line.

Ok bro I appreciate it. Yeah I'm just not a big fan of going all the way to the upper body line on my white XJ. looks good on other colors though lol. Looking forward to seeing the other one you did whenever you post it up

hey GAKRAWLER, have you ever had problems with your hids? and where did you mount your ballast, also, did you buy the upgraded wiring harness? could you take pictures where they are mounted?

The HIDs are super easy guys. Ever since I had my first set on my 01 F150 on 37s I've gotta have them cuz you can see 1000x better with HIDs. For the XJ you gotta buy halogen conversion replacement headlights cuz XJs have sealed beam headlights which inables you from simply swapping out the bulbs. I am running Hella H4 conv kit and love em. Here's a link to them

http://www.quadratec.com/products/97009_02.htm

I pay $39 a set for my HIDs and that includes ballasts. I don't have the ballasts mounted or anything they just kinda fell into place and don't move lol. I have had no problems with them. I don't have any upgraded wiring harnesses or anything like that. Any more questions lemme know.
