I just started reading this thread. Impressive as you're only 17 and even more impressive that you do good work. can't wait to see the finished Jeep!

thanks yall. it is amazing. it looks great. but i didnt bring the camera. i will get pics to yall tomorrow right after school. and thanks for the compliments. oh and a look into next year or so the wargremlin is getting a dana 44 front and ford 9 inch rear. the lift is coming in the next month or maybe a little longer.

I second that I wish I would have had the head start you do! I had to teach myself EVERYTHING in my back yard with a $20 tool set from walmarts!

haha.. thanks. the mud is coming hopefully this wed. its my 18th bday so i gotta go down with a bang!! haha. we still dont know where we are going but hopefully it will be mudd.

a few things to think about.

roll cage, try not to put any bars directly over your head or the passenger

floors, your gonna bedline it so you can spray it out but did you put drain holes in the floor when you redid your floor? also i would not suggest the duplicolor brand bed liner, i have used it and it flaked off. i picked up my herculiner at ace hardware for $75 for the gallon starter kit, check out my build https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/daily-driver-xj-13144/

camo paint, if you want it camo'd like the military here are the paint plans.

well thanks for the info. im comfortable with the paint now. but thanks for the bedliner info. im goin with a rhino liner im pretty sure. so ill see how that works. and im going to put drain holes in it. and im going to make plugs for it also. thanks though bud.

well i have finally made a new shifter **** for the jeep since for the past like 5 or so months i have been using a set of vice grips haha. but i did not get any pics of it i wish i would have but i used a ball hitch and three half inch nuts wellded it all together very crapily since im no good at welding and walla i have a homemade shifter ****. i will put pics of it on as soon as possible and im in a carshow for my highschool autobody tonight at the school for this thing they call dragon pride. i will let yall know what happend with that later tonight. have a good one yall.

Take the shifter off and sand the weld down and it will look good you can also sand it and slap some tiger hair on it sand again and paint it green seen the jeep couple times looks good man

even though the welds are crap its really the only thing holding it together. it doesnt really bother me cuz as soon as i get the money im going to put a hurst shifter in it. so this will do till i get that. and thanks.

well yall everything is going great with the jeep. not haveing any problems. oh and today i found out that my jeep *****s and gits. even with the original motor haha. well im looking into getting my lift as soon as possible. i went muddin the other day dont have anypics but i had a blast. ill talk to yall later.
