id like to take it and try out the current setup offroad, but knowing myself id break it and it doesnt flex well at all! i guess that is due to the "heavy duty springs" (that werent stiff enough in the back for me )

so i cant decide which way i want to go with wheels and tires-

narrow 31-32's on the fifteens i have now or should i go with 235/85/16's on the 16's i have left from my old zj. (in pic still on the ole z)

i like pizza cutters and for as much road traveling as i see myself doing i need em.

Looking at speakers gives me a headache

I was looking at-

6 1/2 for doors $69.99
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Pioneer+...1023&cp=1&lp=6

5 1/4 for rear $39.99
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Pioneer+...1023&cp=1&lp=1

but then i was told that since im not putting in a sub that i should put 3-way speakers in? im not knowledgeable on audio and im currently looking for the "best bang for my buck" im not dead set against a sub, i just honestly dont want to deal with paying for one and having to install it, i would put it in where the cubby in the rear should be. my goal is to pay about $200 for the 2 pairs of speakers plus the headunit (but i could afford a bit more if i needed to).

those 6 1/2's will sound much better because of the better cone but idk about the 3 way....id def look into atleast a 10" sub for the cubby, theyre not that bad to wire in with an amp

yeah but adding a sub and an amp really jacks up the price, money that i need to spend on an exhaust and springs, would it make sense to keep the stock (they work fine) speakers in back and just replace the fronts? or could i overpower and blow them?

you can always tune it down, im not sure how but a friend in car audio does it, but youd need a pretty big amp to blow them out. what kind of exhaust do you wanna run? like a new muffler or a whole new exhaust?

my muffler is shot and whoever the po had install the bb hacked off the end of the tailpipe so it wouldnt rub as bad (it still does though....) im thinking a cat back system. I liked the sound of the thrush welded i had so i might go with another and get a stock tailpipe or just get a tip welded on the end of the current one.

the cheap price tag is definitely a plus, when i had it on my zj it was cat-thrush welded-turndown but the xj is going to get a tailpipe.

i already have a tape deck but im wanting a cd player and the aux input up front, i looked into the modded stock ones with the cd player, tape, and added input but i would feel safer with a new unit

googling led me to crutchfield and i was "recomended"-

Kenwood 3 way 5 1/4 for the rear
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KFC1...2S.html?tp=105

or

Kicker DS525 5 1/4 2 ways
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_206DS525/Kicker-DS525.html

and

Kicker DS60 6.5's for the doors
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_206DS60...60.html?tp=105

(im getting more and more lost the deeper i search...) i like the prices and how they come with the adapters.
