Well I did some more research. And I think I'm going with a 100 shot. Probably with 2 foggers.
Went to pitt today with the fam, and am on my first 4g post! It's so much nicer than 3g.

well any info/insight would be greatly appreciated.
Im thinking of running an AEM FIC to be able to retard the timing for the N20.
how much were you running and what type of outcome did you get. feel free to PM if youd like.

yes and no, minus your past tense you are close...except my tires were made last year. not 20 yrs ago. and I can and will get another set made when these wear out. I actually need to get one more for a spare, but I have had so much going on I have forgotten about that.

well I went back to work, I got the seats finished. I know have full leather seats, that fold for my 2 door.
I got the passenger seat put in, but I need to adapt the power harness from the parts jeep for the power drivers seat before I put it in.
I also started working on the engine wiring, the distributor has different plug, along with the oil pressure sensor. those, along with the trans plug being different. I guess im going to hack my harness up? I mean I can spend the money for a new oil sensor, but Im kinda afraid of pulling the distributor, so i think im going to have to hack up the harness.

got some progress today. I went out to the parts jeep, and got a bunch of stuff I need.
I got the sensor that mounts on the bumper, ambient air temp?
the over head wiring harness, the power seat wiring harness, the motor/tcase wiring harness, and the upstream o2.
I got the power seat harness spliced in, and the seat mounted. and got my tcase linkage hooked up. my header is the only thing keeping me from being done.

I should have read the pages in reverse order like I normally do. But this time I started at page one. I was really in anticipation of how the dual TB set up turned out. Then on page 17 there was the Homer Simpson moment. DOH!!! After all that technical nonsense back and forth, all the planning and skill, a simple thing like measuring 1st didn't come to mind? Going through the beginning of the thread, I was wondering how you planned on fitting that thing in there. As far as installing the motor, it probably would have been a little easier if you removed the drive shafts and motor mounts. It's hard enough on a stock set up. Kudos to you for your extreme skills and tech thinking. Sorry the set up didn't work out. It would have been great to see. I thought there was a brake booster conversion for these. Meaning you could run a smaller one.

as far as the motor install, it wasnt too bad, the mounts were removed but the driveshaft had no effect.
obviously I would measure fitment, but if you check back, I picked up the manifold from a guy who races jeeps, and it was already measured and such. when I recieved it, my motor was already pulled, I simply rebuilt his project that was thrown together, and finished the way he didnt have time to. it just turns out that it wont fit in a xj.
dont worry, I am already starting manifold v2.0

got the trans and tcase wiring all spliced and setup. so I have a 99 trans hooked up into a 97. and I also got the 242 wired up in a SE that came with a 231. the lights and everything should work. the only thing left in the trans swap is the tcase linkage.
so, I got 242, power leather and am working on the OHC.
Im well on my way to a Limited SE Cherokee.
